How Life Got The Importance Alongside Dad?

The definition of life can be clearly related to our parents, who brought us up into this world and made a place called home. There are parents who are still experiencing and living in the phase, where their children are living their childhood and some have already crossed through those precious times and are involved in reliving those times with their grandchildren.  The phases of life showed us some downfalls but we got the encouragement lift by our parents and once again walked the path of life.

Yes...It’s true, mothers are our creators and fathers are the strong pillars of protection for the family. While the important times pass us by, there are moments when you must have found your dad standing next to you, like a shed of protection and comfort saying “Go for it”!!!

Take a look!!!

·         Do you remember that first day of school when your dad held your tiny hand and dropped you at the gate? That was a precious first ever memory that can never be forgotten and your dad with an optimistic smile was waving his hands to you until you went inside the school. He was right there for you when you made your first step towards life.

·         The times when you were standing all nervous before your crucial exams...your dad gave a hand of support towards your studies and word of encouragement that you are going to perform just perfect. During the path of growth, he walked with you.

·         The moment when your hard work paid off and you walked on the stage to accept your graduation certificate and among the crowd you noticed him standing right there cheering you up.  He backed you up when you were celebrating your success.

·         The day came when it was the time to choose your career direction; your dad gave a hand of support and pushed you to follow your dreams. He cleared your way so that you can move ahead smoothly to achieve your goal.

·         It is a matter of priceless happiness when you land your dream job and receive your very first pay cheque. Remember? Dad bought this whole big box of sweets and stuffed it into your mouth and celebrated your first job success. He stood by your side when you were busy decorating your life.

·         When you introduced your special someone whom you love to your dad and he examined him very carefully. Those nail-biting times about your dad’s decision meant a lot to you. He played an important role when you were stepping onto the other half of your life with someone else.

·         The day came when you were all set to get married and your dad with a sentiment blessed you to have a prosperous life ahead. That moment touches your soul very closely and you want to gather all those simple moments you made with your dad once again.

If you have any more memory with your dad, feel free to share with us in the comments below.

The simplest ways to make the best of ethnic sherwanis for men

The sovereign robe of men’s sherwani has come a long way since it was originated during the period of British India in the 19th century, which was considered to be the court dress for the nobles and Mughals of that time. Since then it has marked itself as the “Classic” ethnic wear for men and in the present epoch, it has gone through numerous transformation marching with the emerging ultra-modern fashion trends.

Here I will guide you to smartly harmonize your sherwani with your personality & body shape as you showcase yourself in the most spectacular form for the grand event.

WEDDING SHERWANI: Designer sherwanis play a major part in the groom’s wardrobe for the north Indian big fat weddings. This majestic attire is looked forward as the precious treasure outfit and so it needs to be picture perfect for the royal wedding ceremony.

6 important tips to be taken into the list while choosing the sherwani:

  • Not to compromise with the fabric quality, this should be the finest.
  • The embroidery & embellishments on it should be the work of expert craftsmanship.
  • Should be of perfect body fit.
  • Accurate color pick as per the skin tone.
  • Right accessorizing.
  • Co-ordinate your sherwani with your bride's outfit.

4 important tips towards perfect wedding sherwani as per your body structure:

  • If you have the muscular structure opt for the sherwani options of Bandgala with Churidar pants or nice fitted pants or Angarkha sherwani with churidar bottoms. These sherwani silhouettes will enhance your strong body frame giving a bold outlook to your overall personality.
  • If you have a normal structure & short height avoid sherwani rather go for well-fitted suits/tuxedo or dhoti kurta and accessorizing with a nicely tied satin turban/ safa with jeweled brooches giving you the extra inches of height. Avoid too much accessory.
  • If you have a bulky structure you can opt for Patiala bottomed sherwani or jodhpuri bottomed sherwani also you can team it with a waistcoat or Modi jacket. Go for monochromatic hues especially darker tones of colors for the bottom, contrasting with the sherwani. The sherwani shouldn’t be baggy but perfect fit. Avoid panels in the outfit.
  • If you are tall and slim go for Indo western sherwani or kurta with Patiala pants pairing with a well-fitted jacket. You guys should avoid slim fitted pants or churidar as it will make you look leaner. Avoid monochromatic tones rather go for lively dual tones. Avoid vertical designs rather go for horizontal ones giving you a wider frame.

INDOWESTERN SHERVANI / ACHKANS: The customary men’s ethnic attire of sherwani has got a forward push with the introduction of “Indowestern sherwani". This popular kind of sherwani has got a substantial amount of recognition in modern times with its interesting fashion development. The creative fusion of traditional and contemporary style has brought up an incredible outlook to the attire.

5 short tips to style your Indo western sherwani/achkans:

  • Accessorize smart with classy brooches, contrasting perfectly placed pocket squares, smart gold cufflinks, and stylish handcrafted footwear.
  • Avoid over layering if you are short height, focus more on accessories and right pair of shoes.
  • Show off your statement style while carrying off a shawl or safa for the occasion.
  • You can opt for printed achkans but play safe with prints. Make sure it blends perfectly with your personality.

Latest Trends in Festive Designer Blouses

The Indian word for a saree blouse is ‘choli’. A blouse or a choli is basically a midriff-baring upper garment which is supposed to be worn with a saree to complete the costume. Sometimes, a blouse is also worn along with a ghagra and a dupatta. The modern convention is the saree blouseis a crop top. The choli, blouse or crop top all three are cropped at the midriff of a woman body allowing the navel to be exposed.
Like every saree has its own form of draping around a woman’s body, similarly a blouse is like an ornament for the saree.
In earlier times, blouses had high neck lines in the front and back. A woman wearing a blouse with a plunging neckline was not considered a ‘lady’. Honorable women would cover their back and her upper arms with the help of a blouse. Also blouses in those days were made of thicker fabric. However today, the entire approach towards this Indian blouse has completely changed in form, style and structure. Women have become more daring and do not fear wearing blouses with innovative neck lines and cuts. With the current trend in keeping fit, eating healthy and working out in gyms, women have become bold enough to flaunt their figures without any hesitation. It is all about blending the ethnicity with fashion. Crop tops, an innovation of the blouse have swept the market completely. Be it combining them with sarees, ghagras or even the more western outlooks like high waist pants and skirts, crop tops are the new must haves for every woman, no matter what age.

The contemporary vogue gives you the right opportunity to choose various colour and cuts for your party wear lehengas.
