A half and half saree is a traditional costume where in the saree will resemble a Lehengha. It is a conventional costume adorned mainly in the southern India and is also called as two-piece saree or half saree. It comprises a Lehenga which is tied round the waist with string and a Dupatta, a see through fine cloth which is draped over a blouse, same as worn for saree. The half saree provides a smooth switch. Usually these are brightly colored and contrasting to each other and look like the sari. Just like the sari, dupatta is draped from one end then taken over the shoulder.
