Process of Making a Silk Saree!

Weaving a Silk Saree
Silk saree is generally considered one of the most expensive fabrics in the market. The reason is because of the process involved in making of a silk saree. The Silk saris are historically considered to be among the finest saris in India being vastly hunted after. These saris are made of finely woven silk and are decorated with intricate designs, and because of these engravings, these saris are relatively heavy. These saris are a predictable part of any Indian bride.

A silk sari can take anywhere from 15 days to a month and sometimes six months to complete, depending upon the intricacy of designs and patterns. Silk saris are mostly worn by Indian women on significant occasions such as wedding and are always complemented by their jewellery. Silk saris look beautiful when adorned. Silk has a property of rich lustre hence looks very glossy. These saris can be obtained in any desired colour. The silk fibre will directly be dyed in the desired colour and two different colour fibres will be joined by a knot and then weaved to an elegant sari.
